The Montana women’s track and field program signed six in-state athletes to National Letters of Intent, including Morgan Sulser and Haley Gellner of Billings.

Senior’s Sulser won the 2013 Gatorade track and field athlete of the year award after running the 100-meter hurdles in a record time of 14.11 seconds at the state meet. Sulser also set the state record in the 100-meter dash this spring, running it in 12.19 seconds.

Gellner, of Skyview, didn’t run at the 2014 state meet after suffering an injury at the Eastern AA divisional meet. She placed in the top five in both the 100 and 200 as a junior.

Erika McLeod of Butte, Hana Feilzer of Missoula Big Sky, Emma Andrews of Kalispell Flathead and Madison Page of Belgrade also signed.
