Montana State's sports information office announced today that 11 of the Bobcats 12 football games this season will be televised on either Root Sports or Max Media, with the possibility for their Sept. 7 game at Southern Methodist to also be picked up.
This announcement comes on the heels of a recent Missoulian report which declared that all 12 of Montana's games will be broadcast on TV, according to athletic director Kent Haslam.
This means that 23 of the combined 24 games the teams play in 2013 will be televised. If the Bobcats' game at SMU is added to the list, it'll be a perfect 24-for-24. There will be three Max Media doubleheaders for the Cats and Griz: Sept. 14, Sept. 21 and Nov. 16. What's not to like?
Including the 113th Cat-Griz game in Bozeman on Nov. 23, each team will have four games broadcast on Root Sports. Last year, either Montana or Montana State was broadcast on Root each week, but that won't be the case this year.
