MISSOULA — Bozeman repeated as champion at the Montana Union State Rugby Tournament that wrapped up here Sunday.

In the title match, the undefeated Cutthroats downed the Spokane Razorbacks 58-0.

Bozeman advanced to the championship with a 45-8 win over the Billings Bulls in the semifinals Saturday. The Bulls ended their season 6-2. In the first round, Billings shut down the Butte Crabs 40-0.

Spokane advanced to the title round by defeating the Missoula Maggots in the final seconds, 22-19, said Bulls player/coach Greg Koszuta.

The Bulls plan to start practicing for their fall season in late August. The season begins in late September and runs through early October and three or four games will be played. For information, or players wanting to join, call Koszuta at 860-9216 or Shannon Harper at 208-0609.
