KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Frontier Conference is sending three teams to the 81st NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship.
League champion Carroll College, will be joined by Montana Western and Lewis-Clark State at Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, March 14-20.
Texas Wesleyan is the defending national champion. The Rams are looking to be the first team to win back-to-back titles since Oklahoma City in 2007 and 2008.
The Master's (Calif.) is the overall No. 1 seed with a 29-2 record.
Carroll (27-5), the No. 2 seed in the Cramer bracket, will open tournament play on Thursday against Lindsey Wilson of Kentucky (23-8).
The Bulldogs (25-7) will play SAGU of Texas (24-9) on Thursday, while Lewis-Clark State (23-9) becomes the first Frontier team to hit the court, taking on LSU Alexandria (25-7) on Wednesday.
