HELENA -- Hannah Dean, a Class C all-state player for Gardiner High School, has signed an NAIA letter of intent to play for the Carroll College women's basketball team next season.

Dean, a 6-foot-1 center, is Carroll's first recruit of the 2015 class.

Dean is a three-time all-conference and all-state selection. She averaged 16.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.3 blocks and five steals a game last year.

"Hannah has great size, but also can shoot the three consistently and is a very good shot blocker," said Carroll coach Rachelle Sayers. "I believe her best basketball is a head of her and we look forward to watching her during her senior year."

Dean is also a standout volleyball player for the Bruins, helping them win back-to-back Class C state titles and go 62-0 over the past two seasons.
