HELENA -- Brooke Jones of Manhattan has signed an NAIA letter of intent to play for the Carroll College women's basketball team next season.

Jones, 6-foot, is a two-time Class B all-state selection. She averaged 16.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.7 steals a game last year for the Tigers. She had a single-season record 127 steals for Manhattan.

"Brooke is a tremendous athlete that is just flat-out tough," said Carroll coach Rachelle Sayers. "There are strong players and there are tough players and she is both."

Jones shot 75 percent from the free throw line and 41 percent from the floor last season.
