JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — For the second time in two days, Benson Koech of Rocky Mountain College earned All-America honors at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Koech, a freshman from Kenya, placed seventh in the men's mile run with a time of 4:17.43. On Friday he was a member of the Battlin' Bears 3,200 relay that placed fourth.

Fred Petsch, a senior from Billings, missed All-America honors in the mile by one place, finishing ninth in a personal best 4:17.87. Petsch was .07 seconds from eighth place. He also ran a leg on Rocky's, 3,200 relay Friday. 

Chance Hyatt of Carroll College was an All-American in the mile, placing fifth with a time of 4:15.73. Hyatt is a junior from Bainville.

Thomas Jackson of Bacone won the race in 4:12.38.
