GENEVA, Ohio -- Rocky Mountain College senior Ana Richter placed 10th in the women's mile on Saturday at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
Richter, who is from Billings, was timed at 5:06.60 on the SPIRE Institute track. College of Idaho's Hillary Holt posted the winning time of 4:49.62.
Carroll College's Leah Esposito was fourth at 4:55.29.
Richter ran a 5:05.32 in the prelims, while teammate Rachael Hart clocked in at 5:05.77.
Richter and Hart also ran legs on the women's distance medley relay along with Bailey Eich and Jessica Raymond. They ran a 12:24.98 in the prelims, but didn't advance to the finals.
On the men's side, Rocky's distance medley relay of Fred Petsch, Colton Wood, Johnny Barnes and Shawn Peden ran a 10:13.12 in the prelims, but didn't advance.
Peden (1:55.74), Petsch (1:55.83) and Wood (1:57.99) also ran in the prelims of the 800 meters, but didn't make the finals.
