BILLINGS — Montana Tech can add record-breaking Billings Central running back Ben Voss to their list of future Orediggers.

Voss made his college commitment official over Twitter on Thursday, announcing that he'll be headed to Butte next season.

"Happy to announce that I have decided to further my education and football career at Montana Tech! Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way! #RollDiggs," Voss tweeted.

The all-state running back broke a plethora of records for the Rams this past season. A three-year starter, he broke the school's career rushing yards and touchdowns records, finishing with 3,207 yards on the ground and 41 career rushing touchdowns. While Voss had successful campaigns as a sophomore and junior, he broke out even more as a senior. He finished the season with a school-record 1,676 yards rushing and added 279 yards receiving while totaling 27 touchdowns on the year. His 23 rushing touchdowns this season are a school record as well.

From rushing, receiving, kick returning and interception returns, Voss finished with 2,211 all-purpose yards.

Voss holds Central's single-game rushing yards record, a feat he accomplished on Sept. 29 against Belgrade. Voss ran the ball 16 times for 329 yards in the 49-21 win. Voss led the team in tackles with 58 and sacks with six. He also grabbed two interceptions.
