Junior middle hitter Yang Yang collected 20 kills and 13 digs Friday night as Rocky Mountain College ran its Frontier Conference record to 11-2 with a 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-14 win over visiting Montana Tech in volleyball.

Playing at Billings Central High School, the Battlin' Bears, 19-5 overall, also received 12 kills from Anna Dewald and hit .310 for the match.

Rocky got 44 assists, 11 digs and two aces from setter Tori Bertsch.

Yang also had three blocks.

Tech, 6-8 in conference and 16-11 overall, was led by the 16 kills and three blocks of Sydney Norris. Kimmy Kavran had 35 digs.

Rocky will be back on its Fortin Center court on Saturday for a 7 p.m. match against Idaho's Lewis-Clark State.
