LA GRANDE, Ore. — Competing in the first dual in the history of the team, the University of Providence women's wrestling team was defeated 28-13 by Eastern Oregon University over the weekend.

The Argos filled six of 10 weight classes in the dual.

Of the six matches that actually happened, the Argos won two. Junior Tatum Sparks recorded the first individual victory, and first pin, in a dual in program history over Madison Bozovich at 170 pounds.

UP freshman Kassidy Sigda won her first dual match of her collegiate career with a 4-0 heavyweight decision over Jacey Lindner.
