Forward Kendel Wilkerson, who played last season for Dawson Community College in Glendive, has signed with the women's basketball program at Rocky Mountain College.
The 5-foot-11 Wilkerson, who is from Olympia, Wash., will have three years of eligibility with the Battlin' Bears, Rocky coach Wes Keller said.
Wilkerson averaged 12.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game for a DCC team that advanced to the semifinals of the Region IX tournament last season.
"We're very excited we were able to sign Kendel," Keller said. "She brings some more length and athleticism that we definitely need in our program."
At DCC, Wilkerson played in a gym, the Toepke Center, that is named after her grandfather, Wes Toepke.
The Buccaneers were 25-7 last season.
"Kendel can do a lot of different things," Keller said. "She can drive on you, and she's a very good shooter from the 15- to 17-foot area. You have to guard her."
