Oliver Gore, a junior forward for Rocky Mountain College, has been selected as the player of the year in the Frontier Conference for men’s soccer, and his coach Richard Duffy has received coach of the year accolades.

Gore has scored 20 goals in helping the Battlin’ Bears reach the NAIA national championship tournament for the first time. Duffy has directed Rocky to a No. 20 national ranking and a 13-2-2 record.

In addition to Gore, four other Rocky players were selected to the 14-member all-Frontier team. The other Bears receiving recognition included senior midfielder Nick Heffernan, senior defenders Taylor Ita and Sebastian Holmquist and junior goalie Joachim Soderstrom.
