HUNTLEY -- The Montana State Billings men and Rocky Mountain College women finished first on Thursday at the fifth annual Yellowjacket Spring Invitational, which called off after one round due to winds gusting up to 60 mph at Pryor Creek Golf Club.

MSUB edged Rocky's golfers, 299-308, for the men's crown, while Rocky edged MSUB's women, 329-331.

Gage Huft of MSUB was the medalist for the men with his round of 1-over 73. Teammate Brad Harrelson and Rocky's Tayler Noble tied for second at 74.

Rocky's Daniel Thompsett was fourth at 75.

On the women's side, Rocky's Kyla Clancy was tops at 6-over 79. MSUB's Katie Fish was one stroke back at 80.

MSUB's Capri Ingram and Melissa Saken tied for third at 81.

There were seven men's teams competing, along with six women's teams.
