Linebackers Will Peppard and Anthony Carrion from Cerritos College in California are transferring to Rocky Mountain College to play football in the fall.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Peppard is from La Habra, while the 6-2, 225-pound Carrion went to high school at St. John Bosco.

Carrion was in on 48 tackles, along with 4 1/2 tackles for loss and two sacks, for the 7-4 Falcons last season. He received second team all-Northern Conference recognition.

Peppard was credited with 22 tackles in the fall.

Both played two seasons at Cerritos. They will have two years of eligibility at Rocky.

'I think they're going to be great fits here," Battlin' Bears coach Brian Armstrong said. "They know kids who are already in our program. When they came up and visited it just kind of felt like a good fit for them.

"It's definitely a position where we had a need, so we're excited to get those two guys here."
