Rocky Mountain College will open its 2014 football season with three consecutive road games before playing Carroll College on Sept. 20 on Herb Klindt Field.

The Battlin' Bears will play at Dickinson State, N.D., on Aug. 30, at Montana Western on Sept. 6 and at Montana State Northern on Sept. 13 before playing the first of five home games.

In addition to playing Carroll, Rocky will also have home games against Eastern Oregon University on Sept. 27, College of Idaho on Oct. 18, Montana Western on Oct. 25 and Montana State Northern on Nov. 15.

Home games are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with the Nov. 15 game set to begin at noon.

College of Idaho, from Caldwell, will be playing its first Frontier Conference season.  The DSU game will be non-conference game after the Blue Hawks left the Frontier for the North Star Athletic Association.

Rocky's other road games in 2014 will include Montana Tech (Oct. 11), Southern Oregon (Nov. 1) and Carroll (Nov. 8).

4 -- Open; 11 -- at Montana Tech, 1 p.m.; 18 -- COLLEGE OF IDAHO, 1 p.m.; 25 -- MONTANA WESTERN, 1 p.m.


1 -- at Southern Oregon University, 2 p.m.; 8 -- at Carroll College, noon; 15 -- MSU NORTHERN, noon.
