Rocky Mountain College junior Josh Tishman, of Bedford, N.Y., has qualified for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Western Regional show after competing in three western shows Dec. 2-3 at Utah State University.

The RMC IHSA equestrian team is coached by Christi Brown, an RMC equine studies instructor.  

The IHSA Western Regional show will be Feb. 17, hosted by RMC at the Intermountain Equestrian Center in Billings.

RMC results are:

In the Intermediate II Walk Trot Canter class, Hannah Brown, of Mount Vernon, Wash., placed second, third and fifth over the weekend. Tricia Hofeldt, of Winner, S.D., placed sixth Sunday. Baylee Ostrom, of Sedro-Wooley, Wash., placed third and sixth.

Kristina Felix, of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., placed first, second and fourth in the Novice horsemanship class over the weekend.

In the Advanced Horsemanship class, Liz Parkman, of Granger, Ind., placed second, fifth and sixth. Kristin Dillehay, of Rosewood, Ohio, placed fourth and sixth.

In Open Horsemanship, Sunni Hecht, of Lewistown, placed first, third and fourth over the weekend. Molly Adair, of Billings, placed first, third and sixth.

In the Open Reining class, Hayden Hadley, of Baker, placed second and fifth Saturday and second place in the Sunday show. Tishman placed first in all three shows and Hecht placed third and fourth Satuday, and fourth Sunday.
