Rocky Mountain College football games -- home and away -- will be returning to the radio this fall, with KMXE "The Mountain" providing the live broadcasts at 99.3 on the FM dial.

The Red Lodge-based station, which has a strong signal in Billings, will begin with Saturday's season opener at Dickinson State University. Game time is at 1 p.m., with the broadcast beginning at 12:40 p.m.

Tom Kurtz will be handling the play-by-play, while Bob Rittierodt and Mark Miller will be providing the color commentary and sideline reporting.

"For us to be live on radio in this market was really one of my goals," new RMC athletic director Bruce Parker said. "That's really important to us."

In recent years, Rocky's games have only been available on the Internet at www.mtsportscast.com. The games will continue to be carried on the Internet this fall, along with the Rocky coaches show airing live on Tuesdays at 8 a.m., followed by replays at noon and 5 p.m.
