Rocky Mountain College's football team will take part in an intrasquad scrimmage on Friday night at the LHS Sports Complex in Laurel.
The controlled scrimmage is set to begin at 7 p.m. and will last a little over one hour. It will be open to the public, and no admission will be charged.
The scrimmage will be officiated and will count as the 15th practice of fall camp, Rocky coach Brian Armstrong said. The Battlin' Bears, who launched their workouts on Aug. 11, wrapped up two-a-day practices earlier this week.
"It will be pretty extensive," Armstrong said of the scrimmage. "We need to hit on all of the situations and try to get in a couple reps on special teams."
Rocky, which has around 130 players practicing, will open its season on Saturday, Aug. 30 in Dickinson, N.D., against Dickinson State University. Game time is 1 p.m.
