Kyla Clancy of Rocky Mountain College has been selected as a first-team All-America performer by the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-America Committee.

The Battlin’ Bear sophomore from Park City tied for 15th individually at the recent NAIA championships in Lincoln, Neb.

Clancy, who was playing in her first national tournament for Rocky, was joined on the 15-member first team by senior Heather Bruce of Lewis-Clark State.

Rocky’s Katy Peterson, a senior from Glendive, was a third-team All-America selection.

A total of 45 golfers were included on the first-, second- and third-teams.

The Bears wound up 21st in the NAIA’s final Top 25 national poll, while L-C State was 13th. Two-time reigning national champion Oklahoma City finished at No. 1.
