The Frontier Conference men's basketball championship team at Rocky Mountain College is ranked 11th in this week's NAIA Top 25 coaches poll.

The Battlin' Bears, 21-7, dropped one spot in this week's balloting after clinching the conference crown with a win at Montana State Northern last Friday, followed by a loss at the University of Great Falls on Saturday.

Rocky earned a bye in the quarterfinals of the Frontier postseason tournament and will begin play in the semifinal round at home on Friday, March 7.

MSU Northern, 23-7, remained No. 18 nationally, while Utah's Westminster College, 18-11, stayed put at No. 21.

Cal State San Marcos, 27-1 and riding an 18-game winning streak, is the poll's No. 1 team for the fifth straight week.

For the Frontier women, Frontier champion Westminster, 22-2, remained at No. 3, Idaho's Lewis-Clark State, 25-4, climbed one spot to No. 15 and MSU Northern, 20-8, jumped one rung to No. 21.

Vanguard, Calif., 23-0, was No. 1 for the sixth consecutive week -- and the unanimous No. 1 for the second straight week.
