BILLINGS — Jared Samuelson continued his torrid scoring, posting a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds to help Rocky Mountain College hold off Dickinson State 73-62 Friday night at the Hampton Inn/Wells Fargo Green & Gold Classic.

The Battlin' Bears were scheduled to play San Diego Christian on Saturday but the game was cancelled when Hawks could not make it to Billings because of the inclement weather.

Samuelson, a Billings West graduate, finished 11 of 18 from the field and 4 of 4 from the free throw line. He also had three blocked shots.

Austin Payne came off the bench to add 18 points for Rocky, while Latrelle Franklin had 13. Satchel McDonald had a game-high nine assists for the Battlin' Bears.

Marcus White led the Blue Hawks with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Ryan Clark added 13 and Austin Payne 11.

DSU will play Montana Western at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday as part of the tournament.
