GOLDEN, Colo. — Courtney Hallock of Rocky Mountain College won the women's 5,000 meters at the Colorado Mines Last Chance Meet on Saturday.
Hallock won with a time of 19:57.75 (altitude adjusted 19:17.75).
Eddie Loughran was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with an altitude adjusted time of 10:19.3, while Isaac Petsch was eighth in the 1,500 with an altitude adjusted time of 3:53.56.
On Sunday, Rocky runners broke two school relay records. In the 400 relay, the Bears men raced to first place as Brenden Leaming, John Bass, Haiden Collins and Jimmy Henderson combined for 43.14 seconds. In the men's 1,600 relay, Rocky was also first as Leaming, Fred Petsch, Collins and Gino Giovagnoli clocked a 3:22.45 to set the new standard for the school.
In the men's 400, Giovagnoli topped his previous school record set earlier this season. He finished second in 49.44 seconds. In the men's 100, Leaming was first in 10.95 seconds.
