LAS VEGAS -- With all five starters scoring in double figures, Cal State San Marcos broke away from Rocky Mountain College 77-70 on Saturday afternoon in men's basketball.

The teams were tied 37-37 at halftime.

De'End Parker led the Cougars (2-0) with 21 points, while Jason Johnson added 15.

Joel Barndt posted a double-double for the Battlin' Bears (3-2) with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds. Sian Laine added 15 points for Rocky.
