KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Rocky Mountain College women's basketball team is ranked No. 15 in this week's NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll.

The No. 15 ranking is the highest in program history. Rocky was ranked No. 18 in the previous poll.

The Battlin' Bears (17-3, 7-3) have won four of their last five, including a win over No. 10 Carroll last weekend. Rocky has already guaranteed its first winning season since 2011-12 and just third in the past 14 years of available records.

Rocky is in a three-way tie for first place in the Frontier Conference standings with Providence and the Saints.

Carroll is ranked No. 13 in this week's poll, while Providence is No. 19 and Montana Western No. 24.

The Battlin' Bears close out their regular season with six of their final eight games at home, starting Thursday when they host Montana State-Northern.
