Rocky Mountain College led from start to finish, dispatching Providence 71-54 at the Fortin Center on Saturday.

The 15th-ranked Battlin' Bears (19-3, 9-3) ran their home record to 8-0 and remain tied with Carroll atop the Frontier Conference standings. Rocky hosts the Saints this Friday.

Mikayla Jones, Markaela Francis and Hailee Farstveet combined for 58 Battlin' Bears points. Jones and Francis each had 20, while Farstveet added 18. Jones also had four steals.

Rocky led 22-11 at the end of the first quarter and led by as many as 21 in the third.

The Argos' Parker Esary led all scorers with 22 points. Providence coach Bill Himmelberg was ejected from the game in the third quarter.
