Rocky Mountain College freshman Jessica Raymond has been selected as the women's cross country runner of the week in the Frontier Conference.

Raymond, who is from Henderson, Nev., placed fifth overall in a field of 23 runners at last weeke's Black Hills State Yellow Jacket Invitational in Spearfish, S.D.

She covered the 5K distance in 21:08.

Rocky recorded its first-ever perfect score in beating NCAA Division II Black Hills State by 34 points and Frontier Conference rival Dickinson State by 51.
