FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Noah Kiprono of Rocky Mountain College ran a personal-best of 15:32.84 Saturday in finishing second in the 5,000-meter run at the Jack Christiansen Invitational hosted by Colorado State University.

Kiprono's performance highlighted a Rocky showing which also included strong races by Shawn Peden, Megan Breeding and Bailey Eich.

Peden was third in the men's 800 meters at 1:57.05. Breeding wound up eighth in the women's 5,000 meters at 20:07.91, while Eich was eighth in the women's 800 at 2:27.36.

Rocky will be competing at the Tom Gage Classic in Bozeman on Friday.
