Kiprono posts NAIA qualifying time

SPEARFISH, S.D. — Rocky Mountain College’s Noah Kiprono posted a NAIA national-qualifying time in the men’s 3,000 meters on Saturday in the Black Hills State Holiday Classic indoor track and field meet.

Kiprono finished second in a time of of 8:47.95.

Other top performances for Rocky in the meet included Baily Eich’s fourth-place finish in the women’s 3,000 (11:48.19) and Megan Breeding’s fifth-place run in the women’s mile (5:34.39).

Also for RMC in the meet, Shawn Peden, Albert Rodriguez and Michael Anderson finished 7-8-11 in the men’s 800; Colton Wood was seventh in the men’s 400; and Anderson and Rodriguez finished 12-16 in the men’s mile.
