Rocky Mountain College track and cross country coach Alan King has announced the signing of Alan Ekanger of Henderson, Nev.

Ekanger, a senior at Coronado High School, is a four-year letterman and four-time team MVP in cross country as well as a three-time letter winner and two-time team MPV in track.

He placed sixth in the state cross country meet this fall, and last spring was a member of the Coronado 3,200-meter meter relay team that finished third at state. He holds the school record in the 3,200 and the course record for the school's home cross country course.

"I'm excited to have Alan join us next year," said King. "We expect him to make an immediate contribution to the team and help us climb up into the national rankings."
