RED LODGE -- The men's and women's ski-racing teams at Rocky Mountain College swept the giant slalom races Friday during a Grand Teton Conference meet at Red Lodge Mountain.
Rocky's men topped the team standings with a total time of 324.88, followed by Montana State University 333.55 and Montana 356.07.
On the women's side, the Battlin' Bears won with a clocking of 366.94. MSU was second at 370.21 and Montana third at 381.78.
Rocky's Harlan Collins and Jonas Olofsson went 1-2 in the men's race. Collins was timed at 1:01.58 for two runs, with Olofsson checking in at 1:04.61.
Ryan Flink of the Missoula Ski Education Foundation was third at 1:05.62.
Red Lodge's Carter Theade of the Silver Run Ski Education Foundation won the women's race at 1:07.18. Silver Brelsford of the Bridger Ski Foundation (1:08.47) was second and Ruby Kazemi of the Missoula Ski Education Foundation third (1:10.63).
Rocky's Jessica Wolf finished fourth at 1:12.42.
There will be more giant slalom racing on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
