The men's and women's soccer teams at Rocky Mountain College split their matches against the University of Mary on a windy and rainy Saturday afternoon at Wendy's Field, with the women winning 2-1 and the men losing 2-0.

Freshman forward Gabi Heflin scored a pair of goals for the Bears against the NCAA Division II school from Bismarck, N.D., including the game-winner in the 89th minute. The Billings Senior product also tallied off a penalty kick in the first half.

Alex Harvey assisted on Heflin's winning goal, while Missy Schultz was the winning goalkeeper for the Bears.

The Rocky women are off to a 2-0 start, while the men, ranked 23rd nationally in the NAIA, are 1-1.

Rocky's men and women will play at the College of Idaho on Friday.
