SPOKANE, Wash. -- Yang Yang and Anita Dewald combined for 39 kills to help Rocky Mountain College volleyball tough out a 25-22, 25-18, 15-25, 23-25, 15-8 win over 21st-ranked Eastern Oregon on Friday night.

"That last set was a doozy,'' said Rocky coach Laurie Kelly.

Earlier in the day, the Bears (4-0) defeated Warner Pacific 25-16, 19-25, 25-15, 25-18 during the second round of the Red Lion Cascade/Frontier Challenge.

Rocky closes out the tournament with a match against Corban and a scrimmage against North Idaho College.

"Nobody can match us on the block,'' Kelly said. "Our block has been amazing. And in that fifth set, I have to give credit to our improved defense. Our defense really played well."

Yang also finished with 8.5 blocks against Eastern Oregon, while setter Tori Bertsch had a double-double of 25 assists and 15 digs.

Against Warner Pacific, Yang had a team-high 14 kills, while Jennifer Donaldson added 14 digs.
