Rocky Mountain College's volleyball team ended a two-match losing streak Friday night with its most impressive victory of the season.
The Battlin' Bears beat No. 25-ranked and conference-leading Lewis-Clark State in straight sets, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.
Rocky (5-12, 1-2) had lost two matches in a row and and seven of eight before beating the Warriors (6-6, 2-1). It was the Battlin' Bears' first win in the Frontier Conference.
Kylie Hadley and Savannah Smith each had 14 kills to lead Rocky, which hit .246 as a team. Holland Ferguson had 11 digs and Rudy Kallenbach and Annie Cooke 10 each.
The Battlin' Bears host Montana Tech at 2 p.m. Saturday.
