Frontier women's games postponed

The two Frontier Conference quarterfinal women's basketball games scheduled to be played on Saturday night have been postponed until Monday due to the extreme winter weather and slick road conditions.

Frontier officials and athletic directors made the announcement on Friday afternoon.

Montana Western will now host the University of Great Falls at 7 p.m. on Monday in Dillon, while Carroll College will travel to Havre Monday to face Montana State Northern, also at 7 p.m.

The two men's games scheduled for Friday night in the Frontier tournament will go on as planned with UGF playing at Northern and Lewis-Clark State playing at Western.

The visiting teams for the men’s playoff games were already at their playoff sites before the winter storm intensified.
