Zack Rollins scored 18 points as the MSU Billings Yellowjackets defeated the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks 99-88 in GNAC men's basketball on Saturday at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

BILLINGS — Daniel Shedden came off the bench to score a team-high 21 points to help a balanced Montana State Billings defeat Northwest Nazarene 99-88 in men's basketball Saturday night at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

It was the first GNAC win of the season for the Yellowjackets (9-6, 1-3). MSUB travels to Concordia (Oregon) on Thursday and to No. 16 Western Oregon on Saturday.

Shedden, a 6-foot-3 junior from Costa Rica, finished 8 of 8 from the field, including 3 of 3 from 3-point range. The transfer from Dawson Community College also made two free throws.

Shedden was one of five Yellowjackets to finish in double figures.

Zharon Richmond and Zack Rollins each had 18 points for MSUB, while Sven Jeuschede added 17, including four 3-pointers. Kendall Denham finished with 14 points, while Kamal Tall had 10 rebounds.

Obi Megwa of NNU (6-4, 2-2) led all scorers with 25 points.
