LAUREL -- Men and women from Rocky Mountain College and Montana State Billings will be competing in a track meet on Thursday afternoon at the LHS Sports Complex.

The Rocky and MSUB athletes were scheduled to compete at Dickinson State University on Thursday, but that meet was called off due to an unfavorable weather forecast.

The meet at Laurel is set to begin with field events at 1 p.m., followed by the track events at 2 p.m.

Black Hills State, South Dakota Mines and a few members of the DSU team are also expected to compete.

Admission is free.

Rocky will have eight men and seven women competing. Shawn Peden, Johnny Barnes, Colton Wood and Fred Petsch will be trying to qualifying for next month's NAIA championships in the 3,200-meter relay, Rocky coach Alan King said.
