Northwest Nazarene defeated Montana State Billings 10-1 and 2-1 in a GNAC baseball doubleheader at Dehler Park on Friday.

The Yellowjackets (14-30, 11-19) were officially elimiated from GNAC playoff contention.

The teams conclude the regular season with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.

Sam Cook had two doubles and three RBIs for the Crusaders (18-29, 13-17) in the opener, while Josh Hatfield had two RBIs and two doubles. Tate Glasgow also had a pair of RBIs.

Connor Holbrook had two hits for the Yellowjackets.

NNU made a two-run first inning stand up in the second game.

MSUB pitcher Joe Andriolo pitched a seven-inning three-hitter, striking out five. Casey Merritt had two hits and scored a run.
