PORTLAND, Ore. — Eight members of the Montana State University Billings men’s soccer team earned academic all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors for the 2017 season, announced the conference office on Friday.

To be eligible for the GNAC academic all-conference team, players must be in at least their second season with their program, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher, and have competed for their team during the 2017 season.

Those who achieved the honor are: Alexis Chavez, marketing, Sr., 3.91 Peoria, Arizona; JD Hauenstein, finance, So., 3.78, Green Acres, Washington; Guillaume Kremer, management, Jr., 3.73, Metz, France; Tom Lohmann, public relations, Sr., 3.29, Berlin, Germany; Oliver Posarelli, management, So., 3.63, Verona, Italy; Victor Sanchez, liberal studies, Sr., 3.21, Portland, Oregon; Chad Triplett, criminal justice, So., 3.26, Edmonds, Washington; and Eli Williams, mathematics, Sr., 3.33, Nine Mile Falls, Washington.
