David Arnold, a former guard for the Montana State Billings men's basketball team, has signed a professional contract to play for the Saigon Heat in the ASEAN league in Vietnam.

The 6-foot-2 Arnold averaged 12.6 points a game his senior season for the Yellowjackets (2012-13), including a career-high 35 points against Central Washington, where he made 7 of 11 3-point attempts. Arnold earned honorable mention all-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honors.

As a junior, he averaged 7.8 points a game, helping MSUB win its first GNAC Tournament title and play in the NCAA Division II national tournament for the first time in a decade.

Arnold, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., started his college career at Northern Colorado.
