Playing her final home game, Amanda Todd came up big for the Montana State Billings softball team, pitching a one-hitter in an 8-4 win over Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets (15-18, 7-11) won the second game 7-1, giving them three wins over the weekend at Avitus Group Stadium.
Todd, one of three seniors honored prior to the doubleheader, struck out a season-high 11 and walked five to improve to 4-6.
Samantha Jo Everett and Breana Wilson were the other seniors honored.
Aubrey Conceicao had two hits and three RBIs for the MSUB in the opener, while Cori Gammon also had two RBIs. Brittney Sanders hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.
The Yellowjackets scored all seven of their runs in the second inning of the second game. It was highlighted by Taylor Hoke's three-run homer to left field.
Jessyka MacDonald (6-5) struck out seven in the final four innings to earn the win in relief of Jessica Campbell.
