The Montana State Billings women’s tennis team defeated Metro State 6-3 on Saturday to remain unbeaten in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

The Yellowjackets defeated Colorado State Pueblo on Friday.

Metro State beat the MSUB men 7-2 on Saturday.

They were the Yellowjackets final home matches of the season.

Mary Conwell was unbeaten during the two RMAC matches.

The Metro State women had only five players due to injuries and had to forfeit at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

Other winners for MSUB were Hannah Shephard and Marissa O’Donnell in singles and Conwell and Emily Paffhausen in doubles.

Senior Kavindu Gamage of MSUB earned his 17th singles win this season and 13th in doubles with partner Eric De Ramos.

Gamage, who also won twice on Friday, now ranks second at MSUB for career singles victories (34), doubles (26) and combined victories (60).
