Rebecca King has been appointed the interim men's and women's tennis coach at Montana State Billings, athletic director Krista Montague has announced.
King, who has been the tennis center director at MSUB for the past six years, will be the interim coach for the full 2014-2015 school year.
Before joining MSUB, King was an assistant at Billings Central for three years and was also an assistant coach at Helena High. She brings 11 years of coaching experience, and is certified by the USTA, as well.
"Coach King will bring stability, familarity, passion and tennis coaching experience to our programs during this transitional time," Montague said. "We are extremely confident in her ability to lead and mentor our tennis student-athletes in the classroom and on the court."
King begins her role on July 1. The school said a national search for a permanent head coach will begin May of 2015.
