POMONA, Calif. -- Brody Miller capped off a spectacular season by becoming the first Montana State Billings baseball player to earn All-America honors since the program was reinstated in 2006.
The junior third baseman from Missoula was selected to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Division II third team.
Miller hit .392 this past spring. He led the Yellowjackets in 11 statistical categories, including batting average, hits, doubles, slugging percentage, on base percentage, runs scored and RBIs.
He was among the top three in nine different categories for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
Miller was chosen the GNAC player of the year and selected to two all-West Region teams.
He is the first MSUB baseball player to be chosen the GNAC player of the year.
