Montana State Billings Yellowjackets

BILLINGS — Starting the final month of the regular season, the Montana State Billings men's basketball team will host the top and the bottom teams in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference standings this week.

The Yellowjackets (11-12, 3-9) will play No. 4 Western Oregon (19-1, 11-1) on Thursday and Concordia (4-17, 0-13) on Saturday.  Both games will begin at 7 p.m. at Alterowitz Gymnasium.

WOU defeated the Cavaliers, 86-72, on Tuesday.

MSUB is led by Zack Rollins, who is averaging 14.9 points a game. His 66 3-pointers ranks him 14th in NCAA Division II. He is also averaging a team-best 5.3 rebounds a game.

Freshman Zharon Richmond is averaging 11.3 points a game this season. His 41 blocked shots is seventh-best for a single season at MSUB, and the Billings Skyview graduate needs 15 more to surpass Chris Herriford (55, 1992-93) for the single-season record.

Kobe Terashima needs three assists to become the first freshman since Carlin Hughes (2004-05) to record 100 or more assists in a single season.

The Yellowjackets have 93 blocked shots and are 16 away from breaking last season's record of 109.
