A quick goal followed by a second in the first half propelled the Montana State Billings women's soccer team to a 2-0 scrimmage victory over Sheridan College on Saturday evening at Yellowjacket Soccer Field.

The non-counting scrimmage was the first game of the year for the Yellowjackets.

Alisa Sagdahl got the 'Jackets started within the first five minutes, finding the back of the net with her left foot from the top of the 18-yard box.

With less than 10 minutes to play in the first, Madi Barber doubled the Yellowjackets' lead. Dana Lubieniecki sent a high-arcing cross that rattled toward the top of the box and found Barber's foot. A well-placed low strike beat the Generals' keeper and put MSUB up 2-0.
