MSU Billings hires assistant baseball coach

 Parker Kruckenberg, a native of Fargo, N.D., has been hired as the assistant baseball coach for Montana State University Billings, Yellowjacket coach Rob Bishop Wednesday.

“We are excited to have Parker join the Yellowjacket baseball program,” Bishopsaid. “He has paid his dues as a volunteer at the Division I level and will bring great energy and expertise into our program.”

A 2011 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Kruckenberg lends experience from a variety of collegiate programs.

“I want to thank Coach Bishop first and foremost for giving me the opportunity to work at a great school like Montana State University Billings,” said Kruckenberg. “Everyone I have met at MSUB has been unbelievable and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of what is going on with this athletic department right now.”

Most recently, Kruckenberg served as a volunteer assistant coach for North Dakota State during the 2013-14 academic year.
