Tenika Capouch and Brandy Kumm, who played basketball last season at Montana State Billings, are transferring to Rocky Mountain College in the fall.

The 5-foot-11 Capouch, who is from Billings, and the 5-6 Kumm, who is from Great Falls, will both have two years of eligibility remaining with the Battlin' Bears, coach Wes Keller said.

Kumm, a point guard, appeared in 31 games for the 25-8 Yellowjackets last season, while Capouch, a center, played in 30.

Capouch averaged 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game for NCAA Division II MSUB. Kumm averaged 2.1 points per game, and connected on 14 3-pointers.

"Tenika is a very physical player," Keller said. "She plays extremely hard, and she's a very good rebounder. We're excited to see where her game goes in the next couple of years."

Capouch played her high school ball at Billings Skyview, where she was an all-state player as a senior.

Kumm competed for Great Falls CMR, where she received honorable mention all-conference recognition during her senior season.

Her older sister, Brittany, also played at Rocky for four years.

"She's a very tough, hard-nosed basketball player," Keller said of Brandy. "She has a very high basketball IQ. She can play a couple different positions, point guard and two.

"She sees the floor very well. She knows where the ball needs to be, and she's obviously able to knock down the open shot when she needs to."
