Montana State Billings baseball standout Brody Miller earned two more honors for his outstanding junior season.
Miller, a junior shortstop from Missoula, has been selected to the Daktronics Division II first team All-West Region team and the NCAA Division II National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-West Region first team.
He was the first Yellowjacket baseball player to be selected the Great Northwest Athletic Conference player of the year. He was a first-team all-GNAC selection.
Miller batted a team-high .392 this season. he led the Yellowjackets in 11 statistical categories, including batting average, hits, doubles, sluigging percentage, on-base percentage, runs scored and RBIs. He was among the top three in nine different categories in the GNAC.
Miller, who has started every game but one since arriving in Bilings, will enter his senior season ranked second all-time for career hits, runs, at-bats and home runs. He is also third all-time for doubles, total bases and slugging percentage.
