The firm hired to complete the Montana State University Billings athletics feasibility study, Strategic Edge Athletic Consulting, will hold a public session with MSUB alumni and members of the Billings community during an MSUB campus visit on Sept. 25.

MSUB alumni and members of the local Billings community are invited to attend a 5:30 p.m. meeting inside the physical education building on the main MSUB campus. The session will last 90 minutes and will take place in PE 122.

The session has been set in place to give the local community as well as MSUB alumni the opportunity to provide input into Strategic Edge’s overall study. During the session, Strategic Edge will gather information from attendees and apply it to the research being done.

Strategic Edge will meet with various campus groups during its overall three-day visit to MSUB, spanning Sept. 24-26. The firm will compile input from student groups, administrators, coaches, staff, and faculty, and incorporate its findings into the study.

The purpose of the overall study is to help develop a strategic plan for the MSUB athletic department, with the ultimate goal of promoting student-athlete growth and well-being.

Attendees of the Sept. 25 evening gathering are encouraged to remain inside the P.E. building following the session to view the MSUB volleyball match against Simon Fraser University inside Alterowitz Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
